Tanzanian Curried Chicken-Banana Soup
This soup is a must try for the people out there who like that something a little bit
different, this soup is spicy, sweet, aromatic and succulent all at once.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons peanut oil.
1 (3 lb) chickens, cut into pieces.
1 onion, chopped.
2 cloves garlic, chopped.
2 tablespoons curry powder.
1 tablespoon dried red chili peppers.
2 teaspoons black pepper.
8 cups chicken stock.
1 large tomato, peeled and chopped.
1 cup coconut, grated (DON'T USE SWEETENED!).
2 ripe bananas.

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken soup
The cheese and broccoli chicken broth pictured above only take 10 mins to prepare and
1 hour to cook, The recipe below allows you 10 servings of piping hot soup.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter.
1 cup all-purpose flour.
11 cups water.
3 cubes chicken bouillon.
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size pieces.
2 heads fresh broccoli, cut into florets.
1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
1 teaspoon ground black pepper.
1 cup light cream.
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese.
Directions:
In a 5-quart pot, melt the butter over medium heat then mix in
the flour, stirring constantly until a thick paste forms.
Remove from pot, and set it to one side.
In the same pot, combine water, bouillon cubes, chicken, broccoli, salt and pepper and bring it all to boil over
high heat.
Reduce heat to medium low, and then simmer for 45 minutes.
Stir in the flour mixture a little bit at a time until soup
thickens. Simmer for a further 5 minutes reduce heat, and stir
in cream. Mix in the cheese 1 cup at a time, and stir until melted.
Chicken Noodle Soup
Here below is a lovely little recipe for chicken noodle soup.
Ingredients:
4 cups chicken stock, home made or store bought.
3/4 cup diced onion.
3/4 cup diced celery.
1 tablespoon minced garlic.
2 ounces dried egg noodles, cooked to al dente.
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves.
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley leaves.
Lemon halves, for serving.
